The case
What happened
$3,000 paid in full, up front
Full payment was made before any work began, for the agreed remodeling job.
The work was never started
After taking payment, the contractor never began the job — no materials, no crew, no show.
No refund has been given
Despite repeated requests, none of the $3,000 has been returned.
Phone calls go unanswered
Calls are not returned. The only responses ever received came by text message.
Repeated promises, never kept
Texts promised a refund or a start date more than once. Neither ever happened.
